Class Descriptions
Dating back thousands of years, yoga helps to release energy blockage in the body, clear the mind, relieve stress and induce a sense of harmony.
Carried out in a tranquil yoga pavilion, our instructor will guide you through a series of breathing techniques (pranayama) and gentle stretching and bending postures (asanas) – all performed slowly and consciously with a focus on your inner awareness.
Your Spa Consultant will advise you and assist in planning your participation in these essence of yoga programs. |

Beginners’ Ritual
(150-minute session )

This gentle yoga ritual focuses on meditative breathing and gentle stretching to restore balance and increase flexibility; it also helps to release physical and mental tension. Island Dew massage, the perfect follow on to Pranayam Yoga. The therapist uses long flowing palm strokes, bringing total relaxation in restoring well-being. Immerse in a aromatic skin softening spa bath to wrap up this rejuvenating session.

Soul Salutations
(150-minute session )

Sun Salutations Yoga is a series of postures performed in a single, graceful movement. Each posture is coordinated with the breathing. It builds strength and brings great flexibility to the spine and joints. After the yoga session, let the therapeutic hands focus your back and face on relieving tension through pressure-point strokes. Your whole body is strengthened with better posture.

Shirodhara’s Haven

An Indian Head Massage is the prelude to the most popular healing form in Ayurveda practices – Shirodhara is a steady stream of warm oil, poured over the forehead to reduce mental stress and anxiety. Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation which involves relaxing the body and mind. This spiritual session is a healing process, reaching a state of inner peace and harmonised mental and physical energy.

FOR YOUR COMFORT :
- Yoga is best practiced with an empty stomach
- Please arrive at least 5 to 10 minutes before class commencement
- Please refrain from joining the class if you are more than 10 minutes late.
- Wear comfortable, lightweight clothing that is flexible and non-binding
- Inform the teacher prior to class if you have any health conditions such as
neck, back, or joint injuries, recent surgery, high blood pressure,
pregnancy, etc.
- For the comfort of others, please refrain from wearing perfume or
cologne and turn off all cell phones.
PLEASE NOTE:
- To avoid disappointment, advance reservation is strongly recommended.
- Private Sessions are available through out the day from 9.30am – 6pm.
- Availability of activities and prices are subject to change without prior
notice.
- Our daily activities may be cancelled without prior notice due to
insufficient participants or adverse weather conditions.
